I have made a major change in my pricing...
Normally I have had our puppies priced at one price and then the breeding rights as a separate price, but at the same cost as the price of a puppy. Well, due to a conversation with my Breeder Mentor, Kathy, I decided to lower the price for breeding rights down to $400.
That's it for now! Ta ta!

Pepper finally whelped her litter of seven pups...down from last year and the year before and I think this will be her last litter!
She gave us four boys...3 black and 1 yellow
She gave us 3 girls...2 black and 1 yellow
I am proud of Pepper. She is a very attentive mother loving on those little darlin's!

This is Coco's largest litter yet! Imagine 10 puppies! Oh. My. GOSH! Coco does so well with the birthing process. I was just praying to God for her! I also told him how nice it would be if we, women, could give birth that easily. I find it nearly impossible to imagine birth without pain...honestly...and I have a fairly good imagination!
Well, we are also very blessed to have all the puppies spoken for. Just had a visit this morning by a young newly married man who wanted to meet me and give me his deposit in person. And he lives a stones throw away at that!
All of Coco's pups, or should I call them "Puffs" like I did last year...are doing well. Dew claws will be removed here in 2 days time. I do like for them to be established with their mama before wisking them away to go under the knife. Such tragedy! But necessary!
Please visit our Facebook page to follow the updates on the little darlin's! Blessings!

What do I mean by that title? I mean...every year when one of our females has her puppies...the days and hours up until they appear...I'm a nervous wreck!
Coco is due by tomorrow and she has never been later than 63 days but why does this try my faith? Maybe because I am a whirr of emotions!
Next time I write, the wee ones will all be here! Blessings to all!

Hey y'all! Coco is a little round these days. And next week will soon bear her young. I've been making preparations and am a little nervous about it! I am very excited too! Such sweet little darlings...we go through this year after year and the newness is still the same!

Hey y'all! We are back to let you know that we believe the Lord has blessed us with 2 litters of pups coming soon! We are waiting with bated breath! Well, to tell you the truth, I am just fine to wait the alloted time for those little darlin's to be born because I still have much work to do in preparation!
I'm just now getting our garden in for the growing season and I'm having a little trouble feeling enough energy to do it all and be done with it, so I'm doing two rows of planting each evening...three evenings down and perhaps I more evening to go! So after that is all done I will be working in the basement to set up the whelping boxes. I think I'll post a photo of them as I get them ready.
I have been noticing that my Coco and Pepper or one of them anyways, is digging around under the deck outdoors doing her own preparing...and that spells trouble for ME! Gads! I've been working on plugging up her "nests" and I suppose I should let those two girls sleep in the basement near where the indoor "nests" are gonna be made so they finally get it.
So that is it for now...be in prayer for me as I get my duties done. Lord knows I could use all the prayer I can get!

Well, the rendevous has begun for Pepper and Jett. With people waiting for their new puppies I am excited to offer two litters this year...Lord willing, of course...and make quite a few families happy with a new bundle of joy! This second litter will be two weeks behind the first expected the end of June...literally...and this one due around July 15th. And since we let puppies go at 7 weeks of age, well, you can do the math! We have pick up dates around mid August to the end of August. So that is still in plenty of time for good weather for proper training.
More to come!!!

Hey all! Today marks the first tie for our Coco and her stud, Dash. Coco and Dash were an item last year as well and all went very well for them. We hope the same to be true this season.
So with the shortage on puppies this year, we are still adding to our call list for those looking for a puppy to add to their home environment.
Loves of puppy love your way!

Here we go...smack dab in the middle of springtime! And there is snow on the ground here in Trego, WI. Imagine that!
I would like to add a new thought here...since we have so many families more interested in blacks this season we decided to breed Pepper with one of Kathy Strong's black males...his name is Jet. I'll be adding his photo later on and more of his credentials.
So that's it for now! Have a blessed April! And remember, when you get a LaBelle Labrador, you become one of the family! Get on our call list today!

Hey ya'all! Are you ready for SPRING??
Our winter season here in the great Northwoods of Wisconsin is winding its way down...though...still hanging on, but I have faith it will soon release its icy grip and allow the snows to melt and expose the early blooms.
Ahhh, and what comes to mind when I see the evidence of spring and all her glory? GARDENING! Yes! Planting seeds and bringing forth new life. And speaking of NEW life...
Puppies! Now what speaks to my heart louder than puppy season? Absolutely nothing. Last fall, when the last of our puppies of 2019 left for their new homes and new lives, I thought for sure we would have an early spring litter from our chocolate female, Coco. But the wrenches of life were thrown our way in abundance, so we had to let the possibility of spring puppies fall by the wayside. What a disappointment. But as long as there are females in heat, there is hope for puppies another day.
Which brings me to our upcoming 2020 puppy season prediction. Coco and her sister, Pepper (our black female) are expected to begin their next heat (estrus) cycle in May. It's hard to tell when exactly in May that will be, but I have had a little meeting with Kathy Strong, owner of Piddle Creek Kennel in Baronette, WI and whose studs we use, and it has been arranged for Coco to breed again with Dash and Pepper to breed again with Mask. So based on this premise, we are hoping for one complete chocolate litter by Coco and mostly yellows from Pepper. I say, "mostly", because Pepper's last yellow litter had all yellows and one little black male pup. So who's to say? Only the Lord knows all, right?
Anybody interested in being added to our call list send us a message. It may be a few days before I can contact you back, so please be patient with me. Our call list is a list I keep for people wanting to be contacted when we begin breeding. At that time I will call you and let you know what we are doing and when we expect our litters to be born, Lord willing, of course. You get moved to a waiting list when the puppies are born and you have decided to claim one as your own and send your nonrefundable deposit to hold your little darlin'. It's that simple. Really. More later!
